I was told that it didn’t qualify for the military discount as many other “construction” products. They were not sure if it was a local policy or why the system didn’t process the 10%. With veteran on it for last six month when I was told Home Depot now offers discount to vets. Today I was told my DL was no good after I returned some windows and went and got the ones I wanted.

The Home Depot offers a 10% military discount on in-store and online purchases on select items. This discount is available every day to all U.S. veterans, active-duty service members and spouses. Qualifying members receive 10% off eligible purchases up to a $400 maximum annual discount, every day all year long.

The Lowe's military discount is similar to Home Depot's. I’ve decided to stop shopping at Homedepot – just fed up with the half-heart “we support our military” fake smile BS. I tried to upload my DD214, with SSN numbers blacked out, through my Home Depot account and it was rejected? Scroll down in your customer profile to the “Military Discount Program” section. You should see an area that says “Scan Virtual ID” which features a QR code.
